Tiffany “Timebomb” Muay Thai Workshop and Charity Fundraiser Success

UMA was so excited to host Tiffany “Timebomb” Van Soest, a seven-time professional world champion in Muay Thai and leader in promoting the fighting arts for women everywhere. Tiffany’s workshop was unique and refreshing. She started the event with reciting some spoken word and then launched into two and half hours of awesome instruction on footwork and zoning. Tiffany, originally from California, has spent extensive time training and living in Bali. She not only shared with us her skills in Muay Thai kickboxing, but her warm personality and stories about her journey. We had 26 participants at her event and were able to raise $2,000 for the charity of Tiffany’s choice, After-School All-Stars. This organization provides comprehensive after-school programs that keep children safe and help them to succeed both in their education and their overall lives.

Tiffany was also able to spend time with us at the celebration of our one year anniversary of UMA’s opening! We were so excited to have her both share her knowledge and kick back with us! We look forward to hosting her again!
