Muay Thai boxing is known as the “art of eight limbs” because of the use of fists, elbows, kness, and shins. Morden Muay Thai the sport known by the world today comes from the devastating art of Muay Boran which was used ancient Thai warfare and also has its own weapon system.
We at Unlimited Martial Arts believe our students should not be limited to learning one method or ideology of a particular Thai boxing lineage. We review all styles of Thai Boxing in our classes and welcome Thai boxing coaches from all over the world to share their knowledge with our students and instructors. We also understand that not everyone that trains Thai Boxing want to fight in the ring. Thai class at UMA is also used as an alternate fitness tool to help promote weight loss. In a 1 hour Thai class you can burn 700 calories or more as well as strengthening and conditioning your body.
