Capoeira
Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian martial art that utilizes and combines dance, acrobatics, and music.
It was created by enslaved Africans in Brazil at the start of the 16th century. Well known for its acrobatic and complex techniques, Capoeira often includes upside down kicks and hands on the ground. In order to hide the fact that they were practicing fighting maneuvers, dance and music was added into the system.
